The growth trail
From six-week-old newborns to busy twelve-year-olds, our rooms grow right alongside your child. Here's the path most families follow with us.

6 weeks – 12 months
Tiny tots get top-notch care and early learning in a calm, nurturing room built just for them.

13 – 24 months
For our newest walkers — steady hands, big smiles, and lots of hands-on discovery.
3
25 – 36 months
Busy, curious, and ready for structured play. Part-time is a 6-hour day.
4
37 – 48 months
Building independence and early school skills through hands-on activities.
5
49 – 60 months
School-ready skills, big-kid responsibility, and plenty of fun along the way.

9:00 AM – 12:30 PM, state-funded
Florida's free Voluntary Prekindergarten program, with wrap-around care to fit your schedule.
7
Kindergarten – 6th grade
Before and after school care that gets homework done and leaves plenty of time for fun.
All rates include breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
Registration fee (one-time) $125
Annual supply fee $100
Late payment fee $30
Holiday day, if enrolled in before/after care +$50
School-age drop-in field trip +cost of trip
ELC (School Readiness) families +$15 admin fee/child, plus ELC co-pay & differential
Vacation policy: every family gets 2 tuition-free weeks per year. Once those 2 weeks are used, full weekly tuition applies to any additional time away.

For over three decades, New Discoveries Learning Center has been the heart of childcare in Merritt Island. We're a family-owned center dedicated to providing a loving, stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years — and we proudly participate in Florida's School Readiness Program and Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Program.
